The Marine Biome
The Marine Biome spreads all across Earth. The water in this biome is salty, which makes it very unique. Every ocean, from the Atlantic, to the Indian are a part of this biome. The animal and plant life is abundant and diverse in the ocean.
Average Precipitation and Rainfall
Because this biome is all over the world, the average amount of precipitation varies. It usually depends on where the ocean is located. The average tempeture also varies.
Animal and Plant Life
There are many types of animals and plants living in the marine biome. Most of the animals are fish or aquatic mammals. Some examples would be clown fish, sharks, whales, dolphins, sea turtles, sea horses, and octopi. The plant life in the sea is very interestsing. Sea grasses, sea weed, phytoplankton, and kelp can be found pretty much anywhere in this biome.
